Arlon is one of the three oldest cities in Belgium. In Roman Times it was known as Orolaunum and was ideally located at the crossroads of two major roads. Two thousand years of history have left Arlon a prestigious Gallo-Roman, historical, religious and architectural heritage along with numerous folkloric and cultural festivals and events.
