The farm castle of Noedelange and its old lime tree

The original construction of the farm-castle dates back to the 14th century.

It consists of an imposing cubic main building transformed around 1600, topped with a four-sided roof from the early 18th century, and outbuildings.

The main building, the forge, the farm buildings overlooking the inner courtyard (facades and roofs), the garden walls and retaining walls, as well as the surroundings are classified.

Opposite the farm of Noedelange and a few hundred meters from the picturesque and historical village of Guerlange, stands the venerable lime tree several centuries old.

Today it is at the end of its life and no longer grows. It is 19m high and in its hollow trunk, 7 adults can stand upright; it exceeds 7m in circumference. The lime tree is classified as a remarkable tree by the Walloon Region.
